Introduction

SIBAT Inc. proudly participated in DRAW THE LINE: Celebrate Community-Led and People-Centered Climate Solutions, an inspiring event hosted by the Polytechnic University of the Philippines (PUP). This gathering spotlighted renewable energy, environmental protection, and anti-corruption efforts — all rooted in community empowerment.

Our Exhibit: Community-Based Renewable Energy System (CBRES)

At our booth, we featured the Electronic Load Controller (ELC) and demonstrated how Micro Hydro power systems can transform rural communities. These systems offer clean, reliable, and sustainable energy — a vital step toward inclusive development and climate resilience.

Panel Participation: Sharing Insights on Grassroots Energy Development

Our Deputy Director, Shen Maglinte, served as a panelist for the exhibitor contest. He engaged with brilliant student innovators, sharing insights on community-driven energy solutions and the importance of local participation in climate action.

Student Innovations: A Glimpse of the Future 💡

We were amazed by the creativity and enthusiasm of the engineering students. Their passion for renewable energy and their innovative solutions deserve government support and funding to scale their impact and bring real change to communities across the Philippines.
